Language acquisition is a fundamental - Learning a language, learning through a language and learning about a language - not only promotes cognitive growth but also encourages kids to develop into confident and reflective communicators and lifelong learners.  

Language is an integral part of Medi's program, we believe it allows the development of a cultural identity and an intercultural understanding.             

Our standards for English are drawn from the American curriculum, where we can identify three strands - oral language, visual language and written language. Each strand is considered from both the receptive and expressive aspect.         

Each term we split our English program into 2 parts - Basic English and phonics & grammar. Basic English programs following an American curriculum book, and the latter designed to allow kids to express themselves in a foreign language.
